Yes. A standalone ADS-L unit works independently of your existing vario or GPS: you don't need to replace it to add the ADS-L function. This is a common solution if your current instrument is not compatible or cannot be updated.

As demand is currently high with some manufacturers, lead times may vary; we will let you know the shipping timeframe as soon as it is known. We never display false commercial urgency.

No. FLARM and ADS-L are two separate protocols that coexist in the airspace: ADS-L does not replace FLARM and does not conflict with it. You can keep your FLARM and add an ADS-L device in addition, each meeting a different need. See our FLARM page for details.
