Before your first flight, a few settings will help you get the most out of your device.

Points to check

• Setting the language and units (metric/imperial) if the device offers this.
• Pairing with your smartphone or a flight app, if applicable.
• Checking GPS reception before takeoff.
• Explicit activation of ADS-L transmission and/or reception if the device requires it.
