Manufacturers regularly release software updates for their flight instruments — fixes, new features, sometimes activation of the ADS-L function on existing hardware.

How to update

• Via the manufacturer's mobile app, if the device connects to it.
• Via a cable or a memory card depending on the model.
• By regularly checking the manufacturer's official website for newly available versions.

We recommend checking for updates before the start of each flying season.
